garden updates

slacking!

I’m not sure where the month of May went, and I have been seriously slacking out at the Grace Garden. Our plot leaders and volunteers have more than been picking up the slack though, thankfully.

Lisa Burke at Burke Farm started tons of plants for us (thank you, Lisa!), and the plot leaders are working on getting those planted this week. We have more starts on the way, but we’re starting off with some cucumbers, kale, chard, peppers (sweet and hot), tomatoes, two kinds of summer squash, dill, parsley, cilantro, basil, lettuce, watermelon, okra, husk cherry, celery, cauliflower, and two kinds of onions. Oh my!

We still have lots of spots left for those of you who might be interested in participating in the Grace Garden CSA, so sign up today!

What are you planting out at your home gardens?!
