Things are really heating up with gardening and food-related activities in and around Hamilton County these days. I’ll post the ones I’ve heard about here – be sure to add stuff I’ve missed in the comments!

• [May 7-8] Conner Prairie Mother’s Day Plant Sale – lots of heirloom tomatoes
• [May 11] Indiana Humanities’ Chew on This – eating together along the very ethnic and authentic 38th Street corridor
• [May 19] Local Food Potluck at Butler Campus Farm – I should be there if anyone wants to carpool
• [May 21] Hamilton County Master Gardener Sale – I love this sale…tons of natives and vegetables available
• [May 21] Westfield in Bloom’s Community Plant Day (plus seed giveaways from Plant a Row!)
• [Ongoing] Great new farmer’s market for the upcoming season
