homemade thank you postcard template

I love sending thank you notes, but getting our kids to write out more than six words is…challenging. I created an easy thank you note template that I uploaded to VistaPrint. For $14 with shipping (using code ITSBACK for 40 percent off right now), I ordered 50 postcards that the kids can color and decorate. Postcards don’t have as much space, so I don’t feel like they have to write such lengthy messages, plus their creativity on the front is part of the thank you. As an extra bonus, you save paper (no envelopes) and postage by using postcards.

If you want to print them for yourself, download this file, upload it to VistaPrint, selecting the medium-sized postcard, add your address or any messaging to the reverse side of the postcard, and you’re all set. Make sure you select the matte or recycled finish (not glossy), so that the kids can actually color on the cards. If you have any trouble, leave your questions in the comments.
